Applications on prescribed format are invited for the post of Controller of Examination and Finance Officer under Nagaland University. The last date of receipt of application is 28th June, 2013.

1. Invitees are requested to confirm their participation during the 3rd Convocation on the 15th May 2013 at the contact numbers given on the invitation card.

3. Candidates are advised to collect their respective gowns on 13th & 14th May 2013 at the designated collection counter (Shopping Complex), Nagaland University HQ: Lumami between 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

4. Full dress rehearsal shall be conducted on 14th May 2013 at the University Auditorium, HQ: Lumami. It is compulsory for all candidates receiving Degree Certificates in person and Gold Medals to attend the aforesaid rehearsal. Candidates without Academic Dress (Gown) will not be allowed to attend the Convocation.

5. Candidates receiving Degree Certificates and Gold Medals are advised to report to HQ: Lumami with 2 Nos. of recent passport photograph for security pass.

6. Only designated officials, invitees, and candidates receiving Degree Certificates and Gold Medals shall be allowed entry into the Convocation Hall. Kin of the candidates shall not be allowed entry into the Convocation Hall.

7. Transportation shall be provided to the candidates coming to Nagaland University, HQ: Lumami from Mokokchung (NU Bus stand) on 13th, 14th and 15 May 2013 at 8:30 AM.

It is hereby notified that the two weeks capacity building programme for faculty in social sciences which was earlier scheduled from 29th May to 11th June 2013 is postponed to 31st May to 13th June 2013. Therefore, all interested participants are requested to take note of the change.

Other details of the programme will remain the same as notified earlier.

This is an information to all registered candidates receiving degree certificates and gold medals in person during the 3rd Convocation that gowns for the Convocation will be issued to the candidates on 13th May 2013 from 10 am onwards at a counter in the University's shopping complex, Lumami. Further, this is also to inform that there will be a full dress rehearsal on the 14th May 2013. Those candidates who fail to attend the rehearsal will not be allowed to attend the Convocation on 15th May 2013. The actual timing of the rehearsal will be notified while issuing the gowns. All concerned are requested to take note of the above and comply.

The inaugural programme for Nagaland University Alumni Association will be held on 2nd May 2013 at 12:00 Noon at NU Headquarter Lumami. Member, Organizing Committee, Dr. Bendang Ao will chair the programme. Prof. B.K. Konwar, Vice-Chancellor, Nagaland University shall deliver the presidential address. During business hour, election/selection of officer bearers will be held.
