                      Sealed tenders subscript on the cover “Quotations for Laboratory Equipments for the Department of Electronics & Communication” are invited from bonafide dealers or manufactures of equipments listed in the Annexure for supply to Nagaland University, Department of Electronics & Communication School of Engineering & Technology and School of Management Studies (SETAM) Dimapur. Interested parties may submit their quotations affixing court fee stamp of Rs. 7.50 (Rupees seven fifty paise only) to the undersigned on or before 16th Feb. 2009 during office working hours Beyond this time and date, no tender will be accepted.

1. The tenderers are to specify the brand and quote separately for the rates of the equipments and other installation charges if any. The rates once accepted will be valid for 1 year and no representation whatsoever, for enhancement of rate in view of the increase in market rate will be entertained.
2. The rates to be quoted shall be inclusive of all charges, except sales tax. Applicable percent of VAT/CST should be clearly indicated.
3. Earnest money of Rs. 10,000.00 (Rupees ten thousand only), pledged in favour of the Registrar, Nagaland University, Kohima through Bank Demand Draft/ DAC from any nationalized Bank should accompany each tender. No tender will be accepted/entertained without earnest money. The University shall refund the earnest money to the unsuccessful bidders after selection of and the selected bidder’s/supplier’s earnest money shall be refunded after execution of the supply order.
4. In case the selected supplier(s) fail to supply the equipment within the stipulated time as given by the University in its supply order, the Earnest Money shall stand forfeited without intimation to the suppliers.
5. The University shall summarily reject the equipment if the same is not supplied as per the approved specifications given by the University in its Supply Order.
6. The quotations should clearly indicate the product brand and certificate testifying the dealership/manufacturer of the brand.
7. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning any reasons thereof and no representation will be accepted.
