NOTICE INVITING TENDER

Sealed tenders subscript on the cover “Quotations for Sports Equipments” are invited from bonafide dealers or manufactures of Sports equipments as per list of equipments attached for supply to Nagaland University, Kohima. Interested parties may submit their quotations affixing court fee stamp of Rs. 7.50 (Rupees seven fifty paise only) to the undersigned on or before 19th February 2009 during office working hours. Beyond this time and date, no tender will be accepted.

  1. The tenderers are to quote and specify separately the rates on the different equipments as mentioned above. The rates once accepted will be valid for 1 year and no representation whatsoever, for enhancement of rate in view of the increase in market rate will be entertained.
  2. The rates to be quoted shall be inclusive of all charges, except sales tax. Applicable percent of VAT/CST should be clearly indicated.
  3. Earnest money of Rs. 5,000.00 (Rupees five thousand only), pledged in favour of the Registrar, Nagaland University, Kohima through Bank demand draft should accompany each tender. No tender will be accepted without earnest money. The University will refund the earnest money to the unsuccessful tenderers after selection of the suppliers and the selected supplier’s earnest money will be refunded after execution of the supply order.
  4. In case the selected supplier(s) fail to supply the articles quoted by them approved by the University within stipulated time, the earnest money will stand forfeited (without intimation to the suppliers).
  5. All items covered by the supply order are to be delivered to the consignee who will verify the quantity, brand, specifications etc.
  6. The quotations should clearly indicate the product brand and certificate testifying the dealership/manufacturer of the brand.
  7. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tender without assigning any reasons thereof and no representation will be accepted.
